Singer Gülben Ergen criticized Serenay Sarıkaya regarding the murder of Narin Güran, who was reported missing 18 days ago and later found dead. Ergen accused Sarıkaya of insensitivity on her social media account. In response, Sarıkaya said, "I don't think this is directed at me. I am researching what I need to do on my part."
On August 21, after the missing person report was filed, Narin Güran's body was found by a stream 18 days later, which plunged all of Turkey into mourning. Singer Gülben Ergen, who has been sharing posts and making calls since the first day regarding the Narin murder, targeted the famous actress Serenay Sarıkaya, accusing her of being insensitive.
Serenay Sarıkaya, who became the cover face of a world-famous magazine that opens the doors of Hollywood stars' homes, posed for special photos at her home in Rumeli Hisarüstü, stating "My home is like my shell, and when I am in my shell, I feel safe."
'IF NARIN HAD GROWN UP, SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN A FAN'
Gülben Ergen's criticism of Sarıkaya, who made headlines with her home, did not take long. Accusing Sarıkaya of being insensitive, Ergen shared on her social media account,
"Serenay Sarıkaya's home is very beautiful. She is very, very beautiful. Her work is very beautiful. Her elegance, stance, and success are undeniably amazing. She has a fan base that will attract millions of young girls. I also admire her and her work a lot. If Narin had grown up, she might have been one of her fans. I would have liked to see messages from her that approach the children who are killed in this country with sensitivity while making a living from the people of this country."
SERENAY'S 'NARIN' RESPONSE TO GÜLBEN
Responding to questions from the press at an event she attended last night, Serenay Sarıkaya also answered Gülben Ergen's criticisms. Sarıkaya stated,
"I don't think it's something directed at me. I am researching what I need to do for myself."
