The Turkish Space Agency (TUA) has been enabled to establish companies both domestically and abroad for the development of all kinds of products related to space and aviation, including satellites, launch vehicles and systems, aircraft, simulators, and space platforms.
The Presidential Decree on the matter has been published in the Official Gazette and has come into effect. Accordingly, TUA can establish facilities, R&D centers, or test centers both domestically and abroad to ensure the design, production, integration, and necessary testing of all kinds of products, technologies, systems, facilities, vehicles, and equipment related to space and aviation, including satellites, launch vehicles and systems, aircraft, simulators, and space platforms. Additionally, the agency can engage in international collaborations for the purpose of carrying out or having carried out national or international plans, projects, and studies. CAN ALSO PARTNER WITH FOREIGN COMPANIESWith the decree, within the scope of the Agency's area of responsibility and activities, it has been enabled to establish companies subject to private law both domestically and abroad with the approval of the President in the field of space and aviation technologies and systems, to become a partner in established companies and to hold privileged shares there, to acquire companies, and to transfer the companies or shares it owns.
