AIR STRIKES ON YEMEN
The Houthis announced on March 7 that they had given Israel a 4-day ultimatum to allow aid to enter Gaza, otherwise they would resume maritime operations against Israel.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated in a post on the Truth Social platform on March 15 that he had instructed the military to launch a "major attack" against the Houthis in Yemen. Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi also indicated that U.S. aircraft and warships would become targets for the Houthis, stating that as long as they continued their attacks, the disruptions to maritime operations would also affect Washington.
