In the Bozova district of Şanlıurfa, a car went out of control, crossed into the opposite lane, and overturned, resulting in a harrowing scene. In the horrific crash, where the vehicle was reduced to a pile of scrap after the driver lost control, 2 people died tragically at the scene, while 2 others, one in critical condition, are fighting for their lives in the hospital. It was learned that those who died and were injured in the accident worked at a construction site in the Çakmaklı neighborhood and were heading home after their shift ended.

In the Bozova district of Şanlıurfa, a car that went out of the driver's control crossed into the opposite lane and rolled over. In the horrific accident, where a scene of chaos unfolded, 2 people lost their lives and 2 others were injured.

LOST CONTROL AND CROSSED INTO THE OPPOSITE LANE

The accident, like a massacre, occurred around 16:30 on the Adıyaman-Şanlıurfa highway, near the Çakmaklı neighborhood of Bozova district. According to information obtained, the car with license plate 48 AHU 760, driven by Abdurrahim Kılıç (58), who was traveling towards the city center, went out of control after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The swerving vehicle crossed the median strip, entered the opposite lane, and came to a stop after rolling over.

DIED AT THE SCENE

Following reports from other drivers passing by, health, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area. In the initial examinations carried out by teams who quickly arrived at the scene, it was determined that the car's driver, Abdurrahim Kılıç, and passenger İlhan Yıldırım (39) tragically lost their lives at the scene.

ONE INJURED PERSON IN SERIOUS CONDITION

Hamza Turmak and Ali Taş, who survived the horrific accident with injuries, were taken to Bozova State Hospital by ambulances with emergency codes after initial intervention at the scene by health teams. While it was learned that one of the injured, Hamza Turmak, under treatment at the hospital, was not in life-threatening condition and his situation was mild, it was reported that Ali Taş was in serious condition and fighting for his life.

WORKERS WERE ON THEIR WAY HOME AFTER SHIFT

It was learned that those who died and were injured in the accident were working at a construction site in the Çakmaklı neighborhood and had set out to return home after their shift ended. The tragic incident plunged their colleagues and relatives into mourning.

Upon the instruction of the Public Prosecutor's Office, gendarmerie teams launched a comprehensive investigation into the accident.
