FOUNDED 4 COMMON ALTINYILDIZ

Ali Osman Boyner was born in 1926 in the Tosya district of Kastamonu. His father, Osman Feyzi Boyner, was a businessman. Osman Boyner, who had three siblings named Akile, Ruhiye, and Güzide, began his education in Istanbul. He completed Sultanahmet Trade High School and then the Higher School of Commerce. In 1952, he founded Altınyıldız with Ahmet Sadıkoğlu, Hasan Boyner, and Fazıl Boyner. The company, which made its first export in 1956, played a significant role in introducing Turkish fabric to the world.

LAID THE FOUNDATION OF BEYMEN

At the end of the 1960s, Osman Boyner began efforts to enter the ready-to-wear sector, which was not yet present in Turkey, laying the foundations of the Beymen brand in collaboration with his fashion designer friend Kerim Kerimol and Italian fashion house owner Silvano Corsini. Beymen's first store opened in 1971 in Şişli, Istanbul. Initially attracting great interest with its men's collection, Beymen gradually added a women's collection and in 1985 introduced the Beymen Club collection, which offered a different approach to sportswear.

ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF TÜSİAD

Ali Osman Boyner was among the founders of TÜSİAD and served as the Chairman of the Board of Boyner Group until 2010. Osman Boyner's wife, Ayten Boyner, passed away in 2021.
