The argument between neighbors in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, over walnuts that fell on a car quickly escalated into a fight. One person from the fighting groups arrived at the brawl with a construction vehicle. A total of 20 people were injured in the incident.

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in the Anadolu neighborhood of Arnavutköy, Istanbul. According to reports, children trying to collect walnuts from a walnut tree on the street dropped the walnuts onto a parked car. The neighbor, whose car was hit by the walnuts, became angry and started arguing with the children, and later with their families. The argument quickly turned into a fight. The parties began to attack each other with kicks, punches, stones, and sticks. One person from the parties involved joined the fight with the construction vehicle he was driving. The person who drove the construction vehicle into the crowd caused damage to four parked vehicles that were unrelated to the incident and resulted in 20 people being injured. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notifications. The police were unable to separate the fight for several minutes. In the fight, where the parties could not be separated for a long time, 8 people who were seriously injured at the scene were taken to the hospital by ambulance. It was learned that the total number of injured who went to the hospital on their own was 20. The moment of the fight and the involvement of the construction vehicle were captured by a mobile phone camera.
