Acun Ilıcalı responded to Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım's statement regarding Galatasaray Passolig cards. Stating that Aziz Yıldırım's lies have been confirmed by a court decision and that Yıldırım is conducting a perception operation, Ilıcalı noted that the cards in question belong to the lawyers and police officers on duty who came to the stadium to enforce the court decision, and announced that he would make a comprehensive statement later in the day.
Fenerbahçe Club has issued a comprehensive statement regarding the precautionary decision concerning the use of suite number 217 by former Vice President Acun Ilıcalı.
FENERBAHÇE'S REACTION TO THE DECISION
In the statement, it was noted that there is no contract between Acun Ilıcalı and the club regarding the use of suite number 217, and a reaction was shown to the precautionary decision given by the Istanbul Regional Court of Appeal. The club argued that the decision is unlawful, announced that it would file a complaint with the HSK (Council of Judges and Prosecutors) against those responsible, and stated that it has made an individual application to the Constitutional Court. Fenerbahçe also stated that in the 10-person list reported for the suite during the Konyaspor match, 2 people did not have Passolig cards, and 2 people were Galatasaray fans.
Here is Fenerbahçe's statement:
'Objection to the unlawful decision: Ali Acun Ilıcalı, who is not a contractual party and therefore does not have the right to file a lawsuit or be a party to a lawsuit personally, applied to the Istanbul Anatolian 9th Consumer Court on 27.07.2026, requesting a precautionary measure for the allocation of suite number 217 for his own use.
There is no contract between Fenerbahçe Futbol A.Ş. and Ali Acun Ilıcalı regarding the use of suite number 217.
Indeed, this application was rejected by the Istanbul Anatolian 9th Consumer Court on 27.07.2026.
From this very point onward, developments outside the ordinary judicial process have occurred.
After Ali Acun Ilıcalı appealed the decision to reject his precautionary request, without waiting for Fenerbahçe Futbol A.Ş.'s legal response period; based on an A4 document that has no legal validity, does not even list the parties in writing, contains no signatures, and does not specify a subject, a temporary panel appointed in the 18th Law Department of the Istanbul Regional Court of Appeal decided to accept the precautionary request in a manner contrary to law and customs.
A complaint will be filed with the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) to ensure a necessary legal review is conducted regarding the responsible individuals who acted contrary to law and judicial customs and rendered this decision that disregards Fenerbahçe's right to defense.
Upon Ali Acun Ilıcalı's request, bailiffs came to our club on Saturday, August 22, 2026, to enforce the precautionary decision. The bailiffs asked Ali Acun Ilıcalı's lawyers to present the contract showing that the right to use suite number 217 belongs to Ali Acun Ilıcalı. Since no such contract exists, Acun Ilıcalı's lawyers could not present any contract. This situation was recorded in the official report by the bailiffs. This finding clearly demonstrates that the precautionary decision is unlawful.
Furthermore, after the precautionary decision, Ali Acun Ilıcalı submitted a list of 10 names to watch the Fenerbahçe - T. Konyaspor match played on August 22, 2026, from suite number 217.
In the checks conducted on the 10-person list reported to the enforcement file to be submitted to our club, it was determined that 2 of these people did not have Passolig cards, and 2 people had Passolig cards as Galatasaray fans.
Attempting to include individuals with Galatasaray affiliation through this method in a tribune area allocated for Fenerbahçe fans has been evaluated by us as an extremely serious and unacceptable situation in terms of tribune order and security. What is at issue here is not the exercise of a right, but an effort to create a chaotic environment in the stands.
Our club will under no circumstances tolerate any initiative that could lead to division, tension, or damage to the sense of unity within the Fenerbahçe community in our stands.
As stated above, we announce to the public that we will exercise all our legal rights to complain and that we have also made an individual application to the Constitutional Court to have this unlawful decision overturned.'
ACUN ILICALI'S RESPONSE
Following Fenerbahçe's statement, Acun Ilıcalı made a statement on the subject via his social media account. Stating that Aziz Yıldırım was carrying out a perception operation, Ilıcalı said: "Aziz Yıldırım, whose previous lies have been confirmed by court decisions, is conducting a new perception operation; the Galatasaray Passolig cards mentioned in today's false statement belong to the lawyers and police officers who came to the stadium to enforce the court decision. I strongly condemn this cheap perception operation that uses our club's official website as a tool to target me personally and aims to incite our stands. I will make the necessary comprehensive statement regarding all legal and administrative details of the matter during the day."
