WATER TANKER OVERTURNED, DRIVER TRAPPED IN VEHICLE
The accident occurred in the Tomarza district of Kayseri. According to the information obtained, a water tanker belonging to the Tomarza Municipality overturned for an unknown reason. The driver was injured and trapped inside the cabin.
Health and rescue teams were dispatched to the area upon notification. Tomarza Mayor Osman Koç also arrived at the scene to follow the efforts.
INJURED DRIVER ASKS MAYOR UPON SEEING HIM
The driver, trapped in the cabin of the wrecked vehicle, asked Mayor Osman Koç, who came to his side, "Are you angry with me, Mayor?"
Mayor Koç responded to the question from his childhood friend by holding his hand.
"WHY WOULD I BE ANGRY WITH YOU, MY SON"
To calm the injured driver, Mayor Koç said, "Why would I be angry with you, my son? You are my childhood friend. Don't strain yourself, dear, relax. The excavator is coming, and the teams are coming too."
During Koç's consolation of the driver, emotional yet amusing moments were shared between the two.
TEAMS RESCUE TRAPPED DRIVER
As a result of the meticulous work of the rescue teams, the driver trapped in the vehicle was extracted from where he was.
After receiving first aid at the scene, the injured driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance. It was reported that the driver's health condition is good.
