Rising organizational costs and wedding jewelry led to a mind-boggling incident. Allegedly, a groom, after reviewing the camera footage post-wedding, spotted a relative who had put 400 TL in an envelope, sent them an IBAN, and demanded payment for the meal they ate.
Recently, with the rising costs of wedding halls and catering, jewelry ceremonies have become a budget-balancing tool for families, and an incident that left everyone astonished occurred. The groom, wanting to learn who gave how much jewelry and to what extent the expenses were covered after the wedding ceremony, took it a step further. Meticulously examining the camera recordings of the jewelry ceremony and the gift envelopes given by guests, the groom matched the envelopes to their owners one by one by watching the footage second by second.
UPON SEEING 400 TL, HE SENT HIS IBAN
During these detailed determinations, it was revealed that a relative of the groom had put only 400 TL in the gift envelope. The groom, finding the amount given far below the per-person meal cost at the wedding venue, did not remain indifferent. Personalizing the incident, the groom contacted his relative who attended the wedding via direct message, sent his own bank account number (IBAN), and asked the guest to cover the cost of the meal they ate at the wedding.
"NO ONE HAS TO FEED ANYONE"
In the message, the groom stated that 4 people ate and it came to 5400 TL, asking for 500 TL more. After receiving the money, the groom, whose anger did not subside, ended the conversation by saying, "Don't do such rudeness again. Everything has its etiquette, and no one has to feed anyone."
