Trabzonspor, which made waves with the Mohammed Salah transfer, is reportedly preparing to add another star name to its squad. It was stated that the burgundy-blue team has reached an agreement for the loan transfer of Darwin Nunez, who plays for Al-Hilal.
Trabzonspor has reached the final stage in the Darwin Nunez transfer as they look to make another significant addition to their attacking line following Mohammed Salah.
According to Radyspor's report, an agreement has been reached in the Nunez transfer, with Trabzonspor Vice President Ibrahim Sahinkaya, who went to Greece to conduct talks for the Salah transfer, also getting involved.
AGREEMENT FOR LOAN TRANSFER
It was reported that Trabzonspor, who have been in contact for some time regarding the 27-year-old Uruguayan striker who has continued his career in Europe since his time at Ajax, have reached an agreement with Al-Hilal for a loan transfer. It was stated that the claret-blue club will pay Al-Hilal a loan fee of approximately 8 million euros and will also pay Nunez a salary of roughly the same amount.
184 MILLION EUROS PAID IN TRANSFER FEES
The transfer fees paid for Darwin Nunez throughout his career are also noteworthy. The Uruguayan footballer moved from Penarol to Almeria in 2019 for 12 million euros, and then from Almeria to Benfica in 2020 for 34 million euros.
Nunez moved from Benfica to Liverpool in 2022 for a transfer fee of 85 million euros, with the figure reported to have risen to 100 million euros including bonuses. A transfer fee of 53 million euros was paid for his move from Liverpool to Al-Hilal. Thus, clubs have paid a total of 184 million euros in transfer fees for Darwin Nunez throughout his career.
