The White House's sharing of a video edited from the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) game regarding the U.S. airstrikes on Iran has sparked discussions on social media.
U.S. "WHITE HOUSE" EDITED SHARING
The White House shared a video combining a segment from the GTA game with the airstrikes on Iran from its official X account.
In the post titled "Operation Epic Fury," the statement read, "Destroy Iran's missile depots. Destroy their fleets. Ensure they will never have nuclear weapons. We are locked on target."
"HERE WE GO AGAIN"
In the 43-second video, after a character from the GTA game says, "Damn it, here we go again," images of the targets hit by the U.S. in Iran were shown.
Shortly after being shared on X, the post received significant engagement, with many users commenting that "such a mocking post is not a professional communication method in such a serious process as war with Iran."
Some users argued that the war with Iran was being used to cover up the Jeffrey Epstein files, while others shared the view that the U.S. was actually entering the war for Israel.
