Unusual events that have been occurring in the Evren Neighborhood of the Adapazarı district for 6 months have completely disturbed the peace of the residents. After the person appearing at midnight threw stones at house windows, shone lasers at citizens, and wandered in gardens, the locals set up a watch system with their own means. The person, almost referred to as a "bogeyman" among the public, continues to escape without leaving a trace.
GRABBING A FLASHLIGHT, THEY RUSH TO THE FIELDS
Residents, at the slightest sound coming from around their homes, grab flashlights and pour into the streets. Citizens, scanning cornfields, empty gardens, and streets one by one, sometimes patrol with their vehicles. The search efforts lasting hours continue until late at night.

Gurbet Karakuş, a resident who says she saw the person face to face, described the psychological pressure and fear they experienced with these words: "I think he's schizophrenic; he's thin, tall, and hunched. I saw him myself. People make fun of us, asking 'have you caught the bogeyman?' but our and our children's psychology has been damaged. We can no longer sleep at night; now we are afraid even of the sound of a water fountain. My pregnant neighbor left her house out of fear and moved to a rental. Even police officers chased him but couldn't catch him. When he comes next time, he enters and leaves as comfortably as if it were his father's farm."
"HE WAS WEARING BLACK; ONLY HIS EYES WERE VISIBLE"
Another resident, Öznur Aktaş, who stated that the mysterious person even entered the garden of her house, described the suspect's appearance with these words: "He leaves bricks on the stairs of my house. He was leaning against the pine tree in my garden, looking at me. He was dressed in black from head to toe, had half gloves on his hands, and had covered his face; only his eyes were visible. We want this nightmare to end as soon as possible and for this person to be caught."
Efforts by security forces to catch the suspect, who has become the nightmare of the residents, continue.
