In the investigations, it was determined that the incident occurred 8 days ago and that the suspect who committed the act was a woman named D.E. (31), who was a friend of Fidan Çakır.

The police, who continued to follow the case, determined that the suspect went to Muğla and then to Istanbul after the incident. The murder suspect D.E., who was found to be hiding in a hotel in Istanbul, was caught red-handed by the Murder Bureau teams and brought back to İzmir. It was learned that D.E. stated in her statement at the police station that she killed Fidan Çakır with a knife after a momentary argument they had. After her procedures at the police station, she was arrested by the court to which she was referred.
