In a armed attack that occurred at the Wednesday Market in the Söke district of Aydın, one person lost his life at the scene, while a woman who was taken to the hospital in serious condition also died despite all medical interventions.
FIRE OPENED AT TWO PEOPLE IN THE VEHICLE
The incident occurred at noon in the Wednesday Market area located in Söke's Yenicami neighborhood. According to information obtained, an armed attack was carried out by an unidentified person or persons on a parked car in the market area. After shots were fired at the individuals inside the vehicle, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene following reports from nearby citizens.
INVESTIGATION INTO THE INCIDENT CONTINUES
During the medical check, it was determined that 31-year-old Ercan Zengin had died at the scene. Nurgül Aslan, who was in the vehicle, was taken to Söke Fehime Faik Kocagöz State Hospital by ambulance in serious condition. Despite all medical interventions at Adnan Menderes University Hospital, where she was transferred after her treatment there, Aslan lost her life.
