In the elections held on March 31, Rasim Arı, who ran as the candidate of the İYİ Party, was elected as the Mayor of Nevşehir. An investigation was initiated by the Nevşehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding Rasim Arı.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Nevşehir Mayor Rasim Arı, who hosted Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in his office, stated, "Our most important and valuable common point is that both of us are two mayors threatened by a hitman inspector. As you know, an inspector had come to serve as a hitman for a municipality with a population of 100,000. Then he was there as a hitman for a municipality with a population of 16 million and for the mayor as well."
