Born in Istanbul in 1932, Mehmet Nuri Bilge Zobu stepped into theater in 1956 with the play "A Marriage" staged at Cep Theatre. After working at Adana City Theatre, he joined the Istanbul City Theatre staff in 1958, meeting audiences on stage and screen for many years.
Zobu, who appeared in many productions starring Kemal Sunal, was especially remembered for his role as Zafer Bey in the film "King of the Janitors." He also acted in unforgettable Yeşilçam films such as Hababam Class, Tosun Pasha, Dad Marry Us, Ah Beautiful Istanbul, Billionaire, Honest, Naked Citizen, and Zübük.

Bilge Zobu made a name for himself not only in cinema but also in his theater career. Although he retired from Istanbul City Theatre in 2006, the artist continued to perform as a guest actor and was a long-standing cast member of the musical "Lüküs Hayat."
