The young athlete from Fenerbahçe lost his life in the fire in Bolu.

The athlete of Fenerbahçe swimming branch, Vedia Nil Apak, and her mother have been reported to have lost their lives in the fire tragedy in Bolu.

In a statement from Fenerbahçe, it was said, "We extend our condolences to the families of all the lives we lost due to the fire that occurred at the hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Resort, and we wish a speedy recovery to our injured."

We have learned with deep sorrow that our athlete, Vedia Nil Apak, born in 2014, and her mother, Ferda Apak, have passed away in the fire.

We pray for the mercy of Allah for our athlete, Vedia Nil Apak, and her mother, Ferda Apak; we extend our condolences to her father, our esteemed Congress Member Mehmet Apak, as well as to the entire family, relatives, and our community."
