Mexican social media influencer and single mother Denisse Reyes passed away following a liposuction procedure performed by an unauthorized surgeon. The 27-year-old Reyes's health deteriorated rapidly after the operation, and she died three days later due to cardiac arrest.

The 27-year-old influencer's health deteriorated rapidly following the operation performed by an unauthorized surgeon at the San Pablo Medical Clinic in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. She passed away three days later due to cardiac arrest.
According to a statement from her family, it was reported that Denisse had a severe reaction to intravenous medications during the surgery performed by Dr. Orlando Gamboa on January 26.
Denisse's uncle, Ammao Rodríguez, stated to the Daily Mail, "My niece started to feel unwell after the surgery, and her heart stopped. At that moment, they took her out of the room she was in at the clinic."
The single mother was later transferred to Manzur Hospital and admitted to intensive care. The family lawyer claimed that Dr. Gamboa requested the transfer because he did not have the appropriate equipment when the patient's condition worsened.
Denisse passed away on January 29. Her sister Massiel Reyes wrote an emotional message saying, "The day I said goodbye to you, I hugged you and said, 'I'll see you in Tampico,' I didn't want to let you go."
The family lawyer announced that they would initiate legal proceedings against Dr. Gamboa and others responsible for her death.
Denisse was also known as "The Queen of Nenís of Tamaulipas," and it was stated that she was healthy before the surgery and had no illnesses. Denisse gained fame online in 2022 using the term 'nenis,' which refers to women selling products online in Mexico, and she had established her own store and promoted it on social media.
It was learned that Dr. Gamboa is also held responsible for the death of another woman who died after liposuction in December 2024, although he vehemently denied these allegations.
