The Trabzonspor U19 team, which has made history this season in the UEFA Youth League, defeated Salzburg 2-1 in the semi-final match and secured a place in the final. With this victory, the burgundy-blues became the first Turkish team to reach the final. Trabzonspor's opponent will be the winner of the AZ Alkmaar - Barcelona match.
In the UEFA Youth League semi-final match, Trabzonspor U19 faced Salzburg U19. The match, played at the Colovray Sports Center in Nyon, Switzerland, was won by our representative Trabzonspor with a score of 2-1.
The Austrian team Salzburg failed to take advantage of a penalty kick by Oliver Lukic in the 39th minute. Yiğit Kemal Turan scored the goal that put Trabzonspor ahead in the 73rd minute. Salzburg immediately responded to this goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Salzburg equalized with a goal from John Mellberg. Trabzonspor advanced to the final with a fantastic goal from Boran Başkan in the 89th minute.

In the round of 16 of the UEFA Youth League, Trabzonspor defeated the Italian representative Atalanta 5-3 in penalty shootouts and also defeated Inter 1-0 in the quarter-finals to secure their place in the semi-finals.
