Yasemin Ç., who was threatened with a gun by her ex-husband but narrowly escaped death, said, "Three days after I divorced, threats, blackmail, and slander began. I initially did not take it seriously due to my child's dependency. But in the last 5-6 months, these behaviors have increased significantly. I couldn't stand it and filed complaints several times. He escaped from these complaints by making various excuses. The reason for these behaviors is generally jealousy; I think he is afraid that someone will be in my life. He threatened me by saying, 'You separated me from my child.' But I was keeping my child away from him because he was using drugs," she said. "THE GUN'S BARREL CAME TO MY FACE SEVERAL TIMES"Erhan K., who works as a courier at the workplace and witnessed the incident, said, "I was the first to notice the suspect. There was a suspicious person in the car. The woman’s ex-husband had been constantly threatening and harassing her. Since I didn't know him, I asked the woman. After confirming the suspect, I suggested we press KADES. Even if he is not the one, he is still a suspicious person. There were many citizens on the street. He was hiding in the car and looked like a suspicious person. Then the woman went out to throw away trash, confirmed her ex-husband, and pressed KADES. At that moment, he got out of the car, ran, and pulled out a gun. I was here at that time, and I ran to take a picture of the car, and he attacked me too. I tried to take the gun from him, and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, the gun's barrel came to my chest and face several times. If the gun had not jammed and had fired, bullets could have hit me and others," he stated.
