The arrest of İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu was also protested in Antalya in the evening. Members of Antalya Labor and Democracy Forces, who gathered at Cumhuriyet Square, began to march after the protest there. When the group arrived in front of Akdeniz University campus, the police intervened as they tried to enter the campus despite warnings. The police intervened by spraying water from TOMA against demonstrators who were also throwing fireworks.
