In 2022, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism initiated the completion of the environmental arrangement works for the Basilica Therma Roman Bath, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List in 2018 and known as the "King's Daughter", in Sarıkaya district of Yozgat. The aim of these works is to open the bath to country tourism and visits without disrupting its architectural structure. THE OLDEST THERMAL TREATMENT CENTER IN THE WORLDThe Basilica Therma Roman Bath, which is accepted by scientific circles as the oldest thermal treatment center in the world, has preserved its visuality without losing its architectural features until today and stands out with its thermal water at a temperature of 50 degrees. Within the scope of the works, a tourist welcome center, cafeteria, walking paths, and photo shooting areas were built. In addition, the problem of leakage in the ancient pools, which have been drained for the past 2 years, was solved and the Roman Bath was reunited with thermal water and restored to its former glory. The Basilica Therma Roman Bath, which is accepted by scientific circles as the oldest thermal treatment center in the world, has opened its doors to domestic and foreign tourists after the environmental arrangement. The visitors who come to the district to see the natural beauties of the historical Roman Bath have the opportunity to take souvenir photos with their families and visit the historical structure.
