The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Institution has determined the maximum premium increase to be applied in compulsory traffic insurance as 3.5 percent in July.
The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK) has published a circular announcing the increase rate of premiums for Compulsory Traffic Liability Insurance (mandatory traffic insurance). SEDDK has determined the maximum premium increase for compulsory traffic insurance in July as 3.5 percent.
Effective as of July 1st, the circular states that "Article 1 - The maximum premiums applied in June 2024, according to the temporary article 11, paragraph 2 of the regulation on the application principles of Compulsory Traffic Liability Insurance for Motor Vehicles published in the Official Gazette No. 26582 dated 14/07/2007, will be increased by 3.5 percent for July 2024, based on vehicle group and usage type."
According to the circular, the implementation will be valid as of July 1st.
