Galatasaray announced that Victor Osimhen and Mario Lemina were found to have strain and pain in the right groin muscle group following the match against Başakşehir. It was reported that the advanced examinations, including MRI, of the two players, who have started treatment ahead of the Sporting Lisbon match in the Champions League, will be completed tomorrow.
Following the back-to-back injuries suffered during the Başakşehir match in the 4th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, an official statement has been released by Galatasaray. The yellow-red club shared current information with the public regarding the health status of star striker Victor Osimhen, who had to leave the game due to injury, experienced midfielder Mario Lemina, and Singo.
FURTHER TESTS EXPECTED FOR OSIMHEN AND LEMINA
The initial checks for Victor Osimhen and Mario Lemina, who had to come off due to injuries sustained during the Başakşehir match, were carried out by the medical team. In the official statement made by Galatasaray Club, the following expressions were included regarding the latest condition of the two players:
"The further examinations, including MRI, of our players Victor Osimhen and Mario Lemina, who have been diagnosed with strain and pain in the muscle group and whose treatment has begun, will be completed tomorrow."
DAMAGE AND BLEEDING DETECTED IN SINGO'S MUSCLE
In addition to Osimhen and Lemina, the condition of Singo, another player in the yellow-red team who suffered an injury shock, has also become clear. In the information provided by the club, it was announced that damage and bleeding involving the tendon and muscle were detected in the biceps femoris muscle group of the player's right thigh.
