Clinton's spokesperson Angel Urena stated that the 78-year-old Clinton had a fever, saying, "He is doing well and is grateful for the excellent care he is receiving." Urena mentioned that Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC, and noted that he remained in the hospital for tests and observation.

The 78-year-old Clinton returned home after his treatment. A statement from Clinton's office indicated that the former President, who was diagnosed with the flu and completed his treatment in the hospital, thanked the hospital staff and all his loved ones.
