As the war in the Middle East continues, Iranian MP Mohammad Saleh Jokar said, "I hope this war turns into a ground war and we witness American soldiers being buried in the Persian Gulf region. Where is America, which Trump boasted about and claimed to have the strongest army in the world?"
Mohammad Saleh Jokar, a member of the Iranian Parliament, stated in a statement that he wants the conflicts in the region to turn into ground warfare, using strong expressions. In an interview with Didban Iran, based in Iran, Jokar said he hopes that if the war expands, U.S. soldiers will be targeted.
Jokar said, "I hope this war turns into ground warfare and we see American soldiers buried in the Persian Gulf region."
"WHERE IS AMERICA NOW?"
Referring to U.S. President Donald Trump, the Iranian deputy criticized the Washington administration, targeting statements regarding the power of the U.S. military. Jokar said, "Where is America now, which Trump boasts about and says 'we have the strongest army in the world'?"
The Iranian politician also claimed that Iran has not yet utilized all its military capacity in the struggle against the U.S. and Israel. Jokar argued that Iran possesses new tactics and technologies, stating that these elements have not yet been activated.
"WE WILL DETERMINE THE OUTCOME ON THE BATTLEFIELD"
Jokar expressed that the outcome of the conflict will be determined not through diplomatic means but through military struggle, stating, "We will determine the outcome on the battlefield; diplomacy is no longer sufficient."
TENSION IS RISING
The tension in the region has recently escalated further due to increasing mutual attacks between Iran and Israel and the strengthening of the U.S. military presence in the Middle East. Experts assess that the harsh statements from both sides could increase the risk of the conflict turning into a broader war.
