Speaking at the press conference held after the match, Kutlu criticized İstanbulspor's technical director Osman Zeki Korkmaz and the referees regarding the scuffle that broke out between players and the technical staff on the field after the match.
Kutlu mentioned that some coaches give very nice messages to the public in their statements before and after the match, saying, "We need to extend the process of the game in football," and added, "One of them was the coach of our opponent, İstanbulspor. Today, the team did the exact opposite. I have never seen a team that tries to waste time like this, that wastes so much time, and that the referee also tries to waste time. They use fancy words, but it is acceptable when they do it themselves. I have never seen them warn their team in any way. The actions he took after the match do not suit a technical director. I have never used immoral words towards the opposing team's player or coach on the field. These are actions that a technical director should not do. HAKAN KUTLU: IF I SPEAK, I WILL BE PUNISHED AGAIN
Kutlu pointed out that the match should have been extended by 15 minutes but was only extended by 9 minutes, and he also referred to the penalty he received last week, criticizing the referee of the match with the following words:
"The reason for my referral to punishment was stated as comments aimed at damaging the reputation of football and institutions in the post-match press conference. I could not participate in the match last week. In fact, my statements were aimed at saving the reputation of football. The referees in the middle are ruining football. We, as technical directors, need to warn about this. When I made a statement about today's referee, saying he managed poorly, I was trying to ensure that the referee would get himself together in the upcoming matches. Stating that the referee of the match managed poorly, Hakan Kutlu emphasized that there was a different attitude towards Erzurumspor and that the same problems were constantly experienced. The home team's technical director, who wanted the decisions made during the match to be reviewed, said, "The second goal we conceded was 100% offside in my opinion. İstanbulspor's technical director Osman Zeki Korkmaz claimed that they were attacked after the match, saying, "We have not been training in our own stadium for 6 months to avoid damaging the stadium. I gave the stadium when Erzurumspor was in Istanbul, without the president's knowledge. This is the result. Getting beaten while entering the dressing room. Korkmaz explained that after making the score 2-0, they unnecessarily withdrew too much, and he noted the following:

But the referee also extended the match by 12 minutes in return. We have not seen more than 6 minutes of stoppage time."

Addressing the incidents that occurred after the match, Korkmaz said, "I extend my love and respect to all of Erzurum. There can be such tensions in the match. This is not nice at all. I am ready for all kinds of shouting and calling, but physical attacks are not nice at all. I warned the 4th referee once, it has been 10 minutes, you can end the match. Someone in a tracksuit from the Erzurumspor audience cursed at me, and I responded to him. That is how the incidents started. These things can happen, but I do not attribute this to the community," he evaluated.
Korkmaz added that they were the team that knew what they were doing throughout the match, that some opportunities were given at certain points, but in the end, they achieved victory.
