Footage has emerged of Kübra Yapıcı’s last birthday celebration with her friends before she went missing in Antalya and was later found dismembered and partly burned in Burdur. Images of Kübra joyfully blowing out her candles have deeply saddened hearts.
The death of 30-year-old Kübra Yapıcı, who had been missing since April 30 in Antalya and was found to have been the victim of a horrific murder in Burdur, has plunged the entire country into deep mourning.
HER JOY REFLECTED IN THE FOOTAGE
Birthday images that emerged after the incident were shared on social media. In the video posted by her friends, Kübra is seen joyfully blowing out candles and celebrating her new age. The footage, taken on August 19, shows the young woman, who stood out for her zest for life and cheerfulness, tugging at heartstrings.
KÜBRA YAPICI FELL VICTIM TO A HORRIBLE MURDER
A search had been launched to find Yapıcı, who disappeared on the night of April 30 in the Serik district of Antalya.
As a result of the investigation conducted under the coordination of the Manavgat, Serik, and Burdur Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, it was determined that the young woman had been killed in a forested area in the Seydiköy village of the Bucak district.
Suspects İ.U.D. and A.B.S. were taken into custody yesterday. After İ.U.D. stated in his testimony that they had burned Yapıcı's body and thrown the remains into the Korkuteli Dam, a search operation was launched.
During the search at the dam, fragments believed to belong to Kübra Yapıcı's body were found and sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute.
Two suspects, who were referred to the courthouse regarding the murder of Yapıcı in the Bucak district of Burdur, were arrested.
The procedures for the suspects İ.U.D. (22) and A.B.S. (22), who were detained on suspicion of killing Yapıcı after she went missing in Serik district, were completed at the Bucak District Police Department.
Brought to the Bucak Courthouse under security measures, the two suspects were arrested by the court on charges of "strong suspicion of crime" and "premeditated murder of a woman."
