Police officers Erkan Tütüncüler and Emrah Koç, assigned to the Public Order Branch of the Çorlu District Police Department, went to a fight report at a business center on Kumyol Street in the Reşadiye neighborhood.
According to allegations, O.A., who was reported to be undergoing psychological treatment, opened fire on the police teams. Officers Erkan Tütüncüler and Emrah Koç were martyred in the attack. Suspect O.A. was taken into custody following the incident.

A CEREMONY WILL BE HELD FOR THE MARTYRS
A ceremony will be held tomorrow at the Çorlu District Police Department for martyred police officers Erkan Tütüncüler and Emrah Koç. Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi, General Commander of the Gendarmerie General Ali Çardakcı, and General Director of Security Ali Fidan are expected to attend the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the body of martyred police officer Emrah Koç will be sent to his hometown of Van. Martyred police officer Erkan Tütüncüler will be laid to rest at the Çorlu Cemetery following funeral prayers after the noon prayer at the Çorlu Hacı Mehmet Şirikçi Mosque.
