Images of the song 'Gafil Gezme Şaşkın' that actor Serhat Kılıç, who passed away at the age of 51 in his home in Kağıthane, had voiced in the past, broke hearts. In the folk song that Serhat Kılıç performed with his powerful interpretation, the depiction of death and the transience of worldly possessions moved his loved ones after the actor's sudden passing.
The words in the folk song, "Wander not unaware, bewildered one, one day you will die," broke the hearts of viewers after Kılıç's death.
HE LOST HIS LIFE AT HOME
Serhat Kılıç lost his life at his home in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul. The 51-year-old actor's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute after the examinations.
After the autopsy procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institute were completed, Kılıç's body was handed over to his family. The body was then taken to the morgue located in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
FUNERAL PROGRAM ANNOUNCED
The famous actor's manager, Tolga Çinkitaş, announced Serhat Kılıç's funeral program. A memorial ceremony will be held for Kılıç tomorrow at 12:00 at the Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage.
Çinkitaş stated, "This was a very sudden loss. We are deeply saddened. His loved ones are constantly sending us messages. A memorial ceremony will also be held in Istanbul tomorrow at the Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage at 12:00. We expect all his friends here."
HE WILL BE BIDDED FAREWELL ON HIS FINAL JOURNEY IN ANKARA
Serhat Kılıç's body will be bid farewell on his final journey in Ankara on Tuesday. Çinkitaş said, "On Tuesday, after the funeral prayer will be held at the Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque during the noon prayer, he will be buried in Ankara."
After Kılıç's sudden death, in addition to the acting performances he left behind, the works he sang also remained in the memories of his loved ones.
