Within the scope of the project of the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, 30 thousand red-spotted natural trout fry were released into the Kabaca and Başköy streams in the Murgul district of Artvin. The study was conducted to strengthen natural trout stocks, protect biodiversity, and support the sustainability of the aquatic ecosystem.
Under the project carried out by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, 30 thousand red-spotted natural trout fry were released into the Kabaca and Başköy streams in the Murgul district.

30 THOUSAND FRY RELEASED INTO NATURE
Within the scope of the "Project for the Production of Natural Trout and Stocking of Forest Waters" carried out by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, 30 thousand red-spotted natural trout fry, produced at the Trabzon Maçka Altındere Trout Production Station from broodstock collected from the same streams, were released into the Kabaca and Başköy streams in the Murgul district.
DISTRICT GOVERNOR ALSO PARTICIPATED
Murgul District Governor Ferhat Gür, institution directors, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and village headmen participated in the stocking program.
Officials stated that the work carried out aims to strengthen natural trout stocks, protect biodiversity, and contribute to the sustainability of the aquatic ecosystem in the region.
