DEBRIS FELL FROM THE CEILING WHILE SHE WAS SITTING AT HOME
The incident occurred yesterday evening in an apartment building on Kışla Street in the Köşk Neighborhood of Melikgazi district. Debris that broke off from the ceiling for a reason not yet determined fell onto 75-year-old F.Ö., who lives on the 3rd floor of the building.
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. After first aid by medical teams, the injured elderly woman was taken by ambulance to Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
SHE EXPERIENCED VISION LOSS AND HER NOSE WAS BROKEN
It was determined that F.Ö., who was placed under treatment at the hospital, had a fracture in her nose and experienced vision loss. The elderly woman's treatment at the hospital continues.

While police teams launched an investigation into the incident, an examination was initiated to determine the reason why the debris broke off from the ceiling and fell.
