A mysterious creature that abducts and kills livestock on the US-Mexico border has been caught on cameras placed in the region. The white-colored being, about 1.8 meters long, drew attention with its long tail and unusual appearance. While UFO researcher Jaime Maussan argues that the creature may have come from another dimension, authorities announced that there were no reports of attacks in the area.
A mysterious creature allegedly sighted on the US-Mexico border has aroused great curiosity in the region. The white, long-tailed being, which is claimed to have killed and abducted livestock, was captured by cameras installed in the area. UFO researcher Jaime Maussan argued that the creature does not resemble any known animal species and suggested it may have come from another dimension. However, authorities stated that there had been no official reports of attacks by such a creature in the area.
CLAIM THAT LIVESTOCK BEGAN TO DISAPPEAR
The events alleged to have occurred in the Juárez Valley, which stretches along the Rio Grande River on the US border in Mexico's Chihuahua state, have caused unease among local residents.
UFO researcher Jaime Maussan announced that he had collected witness statements about chickens, roosters, and rabbits in the area being abducted and killed by a mysterious creature.
According to Maussan's account, the investigations began after an unidentified child said he saw the creature grab a chicken by the head and climb a tree.
THEY FILMED IT WITH HIDDEN CAMERAS
The team that went to the area to investigate the claims placed motion-sensor cameras at various points. In the footage shared with the public on October 17, an animal with white coloring, a long tail, and large limbs was seen moving.
Four research assistants working with Maussan announced that they had calculated the creature's dimensions based on footage of it climbing a large brick wall. According to the researchers, the creature's total length from head to tip of tail is approximately 1.8 meters. Its tail is estimated to be about 90 centimeters long.
"IT DOES NOT RESEMBLE ANY ANIMAL WE KNOW"
The research team argued that the being in the footage did not resemble a rat, raccoon, rabbit, or other mammals commonly seen in the area. It was reported that animal experts said to have participated in the examination were also unable to identify the creature as one of the known species, but they focused on the possibility that it could be a mutated animal. Maussan claimed that the creature was quite agile and intelligent and could even walk on two legs. However, it was stated that in the shared security camera recordings, there was no moment in which the creature was walking on two legs.
"IT MAY HAVE COME FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION"
The most striking statement about the mysterious creature came from Jaime Maussan. Saying that the creature did not necessarily have to have come from space, Maussan suggested that it could have crossed into Earth from a different dimension.
In a statement to the Mexican press, Maussan said, "Why did it appear there? It is a mystery. Are they interdimensional beings? Did they come with other beings? Did they come in spaceships?"
Stating that he did not think the creature attacked humans, the researcher said, "It is a predator. I am not saying it is extraterrestrial, but it is something frightening. Its intelligence and agility are truly terrifying."
SOME FAMILIES ALLEGEDLY LEFT THEIR HOMES
Maussan also claimed that some people living in the area had left their homes because they were afraid of the mysterious creature. However, this claim was not confirmed by local authorities. Juárez Civil Protection officials announced that they had received no reports of a deadly creature being seen in the area or of livestock being abducted.
On the US side, police officials in Texas also announced that they had received no official notifications regarding unusual encounters or livestock killings since the first claims were made on October 5.
HE HAD PREVIOUSLY MADE HEADLINES WITH ALIEN CLAIMS
Jaime Maussan, who investigated the mysterious creature, had also made headlines in the past with controversial statements about extraterrestrial life. In 2023, Maussan displayed two mummies that he said were found in Peru at the Mexican Congress and argued that they belonged to non-human beings.
However, examinations by forensic experts concluded that the objects presented as alien mummies were artificial figures made using human and animal bones, glue, and paper.
THE PREVIOUS MYSTERIOUS CREATURE ALSO TURNED OUT TO BE A HOAX
Another mysterious creature case that Maussan investigated in 2007 and that became known as "El Ser de Metepec" also later took on a different dimension. It had been claimed that the hairless creature, which was alleged to have been caught in a mousetrap by a farmer near Mexico, could be an alien. However, it later emerged that the creature in question was a squirrel monkey that had been altered by a local taxidermist.
IT IS UNCLEAR WHAT THE MYSTERIOUS CREATURE IS
US authorities state that to date there is no verified physical evidence proving the existence of extraterrestrial life. The species of the creature alleged to have been filmed in the Juárez Valley has also not yet been definitively determined by independent experts.
While there is no scientific evidence that the animal in the footage is truly an unknown species or that it came from another dimension, the images captured on camera continue to be debated.
