A relative of a dialysis patient explained that they recorded a video to ensure that the patient’s spouse would not complain after administering medication. The scandals related to the Newborn gang that deeply shook Turkey are endless. A scandalous claim has emerged regarding the Private Reyap Hospital in Esenyurt, which was closed as part of the investigation.

The hospitals mentioned in the indictment prepared against the gang that provided unfair profits by transferring babies to contracted hospitals in Istanbul and caused their deaths through negligent behavior were closed after their licenses were revoked. Meanwhile, the transfer processes of patients who were hospitalized in the closed hospitals have been initiated, but the relatives of the patients stated that they were not informed about the process by the hospital management.

"THEY GAVE MY HUSBAND MEDICATION AND MADE HIM SAY HE WAS SATISFIED WITH THE HOSPITAL, THEN RECORDED IT"

A relative of a patient named Hülya Çelikel recounted that they brought her husband, who is a kidney patient, to the REYAP hospital in Esenyurt, saying, "My husband said he was mistreated here and cried out, 'Save me from here.' A nurse there opened our eyes. She said, 'I can't stand your crying and wailing; yes, they are torturing the uncle here at REYAP Hospital.' So we decided to take my husband out and brought him to Medilife hospital," she stated.

"THEY GAVE ME MEDICATION THERE, I WAS CONFUSED"

Çelikel, who claimed that a doctor at the hospital gave her husband medication and recorded a video, said, "We took my husband to the ambulance and brought him to Medilife hospital. Then, as he started to regain consciousness, he told me, 'They gave me medication there; I was confused.' They recorded my husband on video. They recorded it to prevent us from filing a complaint. No one has the right to record my husband on video. I brought him here," she expressed.

"IT'S UNCLEAR WHERE THE PATIENTS HAVE GONE"

The woman waiting in front of Medilife hospital continued, "Right now, we cannot get any information about my husband's condition. It's unclear where he will be transferred. He needs to go on dialysis for his kidneys. They need to take him from here and put him on dialysis. No decision is being made. What am I supposed to do with my patient? Should I take him home or put him on dialysis? Right now, we cannot speak to any officials. An ambulance comes and goes, and it's unclear where the patients have gone. They are not informing the relatives," she said.
