In the scandalous incident, a couple browsing the store lay down on a quilt in the display area and suddenly began having intercourse. In the footage witnessed live by the astonished crowd in the store, the couple were seen getting lost in their own world, ignoring the people and children around them.
This indecent behavior exhibited in public took place in a giant furniture store in Taiwan. An angry mother, who was shopping with her child that day, recorded these scandalous scenes she witnessed on July 16 and shared them on social media.
The mother, stating that her child noticed the situation and told her, "This is so disgusting," posted the footage on the Threads platform and lashed out at the couple who couldn't control their sexual urges. The furious woman wrote in her post, "Go home, get in your car, or rent a hotel room!"
Users also reacted strongly to the footage, which quickly spread on social media. One user commented, "This is not a hotel," while some users argued that the store management should post warning signs explicitly prohibiting such behavior and increase security.
The couple, both wearing black t-shirts, were seen taking off their shoes and throwing them onto the bed next to them.
Heavy Prison Sentence Ahead
According to Taiwan's "obscene acts" laws, the couple who had intercourse in public could face up to one year in prison or a judicial fine.
The furniture chain in question had previously come to the spotlight for such scandals in its stores. In 2020, at a branch in China, a woman who was an adult content performer recorded herself having intercourse on a display bed. After that video, which went viral online, the store management strongly condemned the incident and increased security measures. The woman and her cameraman, who were taken to court at that time, were sentenced to 3 years in prison.
