Teams of the Altınordu Municipality Municipal Police Directorate continue their inspections across the city targeting individuals who obtain unfair gain by exploiting citizens' emotions. Within the scope of the efforts, a person determined to be begging in Düz Neighborhood was caught by teams and taken to the Municipal Police Directorate.
MONEY SEIZED, ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION TAKEN
During a detailed search of the person at the municipal police center, 21,932 Turkish lira in cash, determined to have been obtained from begging, was found. The seized money was confiscated to be transferred to the public, while an administrative sanction fine was imposed on the person under the Misdemeanors Law.
