4 DOGS FOUND SHOT WITH A RIFLE

A group of animal lovers who came to feed the street dogs living in the empty lot in Yenimahalle encountered 4 dead dogs and 1 injured dog. Seeing that the dogs had been shot dead, the animal lovers reported the situation to the police. The injured dog was taken to the veterinarian for treatment. Police teams conducting an investigation in the area have launched a search for the suspect or suspects.

"THEY WERE NOT AGGRESSIVE"

Animal lover Tuğba Zümbül stated that the dogs were found in the morning, saying, "There are 2 friends who specifically feed this area. They heard gunshots last night, but they didn't understand what was happening. There is currently a killer here. It doesn't seem like it will stop. Because while we were looking after the other dogs down here, another dog was shot up there. A killer is roaming around here right now. We don't know what to do. Such an incident has never happened here before. Dogs have been shot since yesterday. Right now, there are 4 dead, and 1 is struggling for its life in the clinic. There are 5 dogs that have been shot. There were about 20 dogs here; we can't tell which ones are dead and which ones are not. The dogs we were feeding were not aggressive dogs; they were dogs that were afraid of humans," she said.
