A motorcycle parked in the Cihangir neighborhood of Avcılar was stolen and taken away by two suspects within seconds. The theft moments were captured on security camera; it was stated that the market value of the motorcycle is approximately 180,000 lira. Police have launched an operation to catch the suspects.
Two suspects approached a parked motorcycle in Avcılar, first checking the area and then leaving the street. When they returned to the vehicle a short while later, one of the two suspects started the motorcycle within seconds. As the suspects fled the street on the stolen motorcycle, the theft was captured on security camera.
THEY TOOK A LAP AROUND THE STREET AND CHECKED THE AREA
The incident occurred yesterday morning at around 04:00 on Ayık Street in the Cihangir neighborhood. Two suspects, who arrived on another motorcycle, waited for a while next to the motorcycle with license plate 34 HKM 655 parked on the street. After checking the area, the suspects took a lap around the street and then returned to the motorcycle.
THEY STOLE THE MOTORCYCLE WITHIN SECONDS
One of the suspects went to the parked motorcycle and started it within seconds. Then, the two suspects fled the scene on motorcycles. The owner, who could not find his motorcycle, which was learned to have a market value of approximately 180,000 Turkish liras, filed a complaint by giving the security camera footage to the police. The police launched an operation to catch the suspects.
