THEY BEGAN ARGUING SUDDENLY The incident occurred in the evening hours on Nursultan Nazarbayev Street in the 2000 Bin Evler Neighborhood. After N.Ö.'s blood pressure rose at home and he became ill, the 112 Emergency Call Center was notified. While health workers who arrived at the home upon the report were intervening, a fight broke out between N.Ö.'s children, siblings E.Ö. and Y.Ö.
THEY LOCKED THE HEALTH WORKERS ON THE BALCONY AND FOUGHT EACH OTHER The health team that arrived at the address by ambulance experienced difficult moments when the argument between siblings E.Ö. and Y.Ö. quickly turned into a fight. During the knife fight, the health workers were locked on the balcony by the siblings and remained trapped there for a while. The health workers, taken hostage, requested help from the police.
THEY WERE RESCUED WITH POLICE INTERVENTION With the police intervention at the scene, the health workers were removed from the house where they were held hostage, while E.Ö. and his sibling Y.Ö. were taken into custody. Relatives of the suspects attempted to attack journalists trying to capture footage as they were being taken out of the hospital for health checks. After the scuffle, it was learned that some of the health teams and journalists at the scene filed complaints. The investigation into the incident continues.
