Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known to the public as Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca, explained the three reasons behind his parting ways with the İsmailağa Community. Arguing that Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu's will was not complied with, Ünlü reacted sharply to the community administration's appointment of a new sheikh and the assignment of Abdullah Kılıç. Ünlü said, "Our contact with those who are in contact with İsmailağa has been cut."
Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, publicly known as Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca, made striking statements about his reasons for leaving the İsmailağa Community. In his speech published on social media, Ünlü criticized the community leadership and stated that there were three main reasons behind his decision to leave, alleging that Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu's will was not followed.
"WE LEFT BECAUSE THEY BROKE THE WILL"
Arguing that the first reason for his decision to leave was the failure to comply with Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu's will, Ünlü said, "Our Honorable Efendi left us a will. The rabita will continue with me. We left because they broke it."
"THEY INVENTED A SHEIKH"
Saying that the second reason was the community's appointment of a new sheikh, Ünlü argued that Ustaosmanoğlu did not leave a caliph after himself.
Ünlü said, "Our Honorable Efendi left us a will. I have no caliph. I did not leave a sheikh. We heard this with our own ears. There is also the sound. The İsmailağa Foundation invented a sheikh. That is the second reason we left."
HARSH WORDS FOR ABDULLAH KILIÇ
Stating that the third reason for leaving was Abdullah Kılıç's appointment as secretary-general, Ünlü reacted to Kılıç's religious views.
Claiming that Kılıç had made a statement to the effect that after the deaths of the saints, their spiritual influence and miracles do not continue, Ünlü argued that this view contradicts the Ahl al-Sunnah understanding.
Ünlü also made various accusations regarding Kılıç's relations with Mustafa Karataş and Hayrettin Karaman. These assessments consist of Ünlü's claims, and the responses of the named individuals to these statements are not yet known.
"OUR CONTACT WITH İSMAİLAĞA HAS BEEN CUT"
Emphasizing that they continue to follow Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu's path, Ünlü stated that their relations with the community leadership had completely ended.
Ünlü said, "Our contact with those who are in contact with İsmailağa has been cut. May Allah reform them too, guide them, and grant them to return to Efendi. But as long as they do not return to Efendi and do not turn to his wills, we have no relationship with them."
"I DO NOT ACCEPT FİKRİ AS A SHEIKH"
Also touching on statements Kamil Şenocak made in the past in his speech, Ünlü recounted that Şenocak said he did not accept Fikri Doğan as a sheikh.
Reiterating his view that Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu did not leave a caliph in his place, Ünlü continued his criticism of community members who do not share his view.
