THOUSANDS OF PAGES OF MILITARY DOCUMENTS FOUND BY THE ROADSIDE
Abandoned vehicles in unusable condition were spotted on the international M5 highway connecting the important cities of Syria, the capital Damascus and Aleppo. Thousands of pages of military documents were found scattered by the roadside from a looted military vehicle. The documents revealed which regions the soldiers were assigned to, which vehicle they used to go where, and many military orders.

Dozens of military and civilian vehicles belonging to the regime, which played a key role in the advance of opposition groups towards the capital Damascus, were found abandoned by the roadside, burned and looted, on the M5 highway.
