The death toll is rising in the events that broke out in Latakia and its surroundings in Syria. According to a statement from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the death toll has exceeded a thousand. With God's permission, we will live together in this country." Stating that this country has the power to survive, Shara said, "What is happening right now are the expected difficulties."

Ahmed Shara released a video in the evening regarding the violent incidents in the city of Latakia and its surroundings. Stating that they are facing attempts to drag Syria into civil war, Shara said, "The remnants of the old regime have no choice but to surrender. Anyone who harms civilians will be held accountable. We will not allow any external or local power to drag Syria into chaos or civil war."
EMERGENCY COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED
The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that an emergency committee has been established to investigate possible violations during military and security operations on March 6-7 and to prosecute those responsible. It was stated that the committee would meticulously examine whether command orders were followed during the operations, and those found to have violated the rules would be referred to military court.
