"HOW CAN YOU SEND SUCH MESSAGES TO A MOTHER WHOSE CHILD YOU HAVE MURDERED?"

In his post, Rezan Epözdemir stated: "These are the messages that came to the phone of my client Yasemin Minguzzi, whose child was just murdered. Our friends are now submitting these messages to the Prosecutor's Office. Immoral degenerates, are you human? How can you send such messages to a mother whose child you have murdered? By the way, we are not afraid; you cannot intimidate us with these messages. As a requirement of the rule of law, we exercised our right to seek justice, and I hope that the judiciary will act accordingly as soon as possible. We are not afraid; our legal struggle will continue to the end, and the perpetrators will receive the heaviest punishment."

SHAMELESS DEFENSE FROM THOSE WHO THREATENED THE FAMILY

Meanwhile, after the murder of Ahmet Minguzzi, 5 suspects, including 4 minors (B.A., H.E.A, K.G., E.K., and A.S.D.), who shared messages praising the perpetrators and threatening the Minguzzi family on social media, were referred to Bakırköy Courthouse for "armed threats" and "threatening multiple people" after their procedures at the police station. It was learned that suspect B.A. (33) claimed in his statement at the Robbery Bureau that he made the post unconsciously and did not know anyone. Additionally, unlicensed firearms were seized during searches of the suspects' homes.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On January 24, Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi went to the market in Kadıköy Hasanpaşa neighborhood to buy skateboarding equipment with his friends, where a dispute occurred between him and B.B. and U.B. While trying to leave the market, Minguzzi was stabbed by B.B. and kicked on the ground by U.B. Minguzzi, who was seriously injured, was taken to the hospital after the intervention of health teams, while the two fleeing suspects were caught and arrested. Minguzzi passed away in the hospital on February 9, while the trial of the two arrested perpetrators is ongoing.
