A man who was recently released from prison in Denizli stabbed his ex-wife and her boyfriend in the middle of the street. While the woman died in the hospital, her boyfriend is still in critical condition. The attacker, the ex-husband, was quickly apprehended, and it was reported that the couple's children were also present at the scene during the attack.

Mehmet K, who was released from prison a while ago, saw his ex-wife Hatice Ünlü (42) and her alleged boyfriend Hasan Çalışkan getting into a car with the license plate 20 AGA 033 in the Kuşpınar neighborhood on Lise Street.
HE STABBED HIS EX-WIFE AND HER BOYFRIEND
The ex-husband Mehmet K. attacked the woman and her male friend with a knife he was carrying. The assailant Mehmet K. stabbed Hatice Ünlü and Hasan Çalışkan in various parts of their bodies, seriously injuring them, and fled the scene. Upon the notification of citizens who witnessed the incident, health and police teams were dispatched to the area.

The injured individuals, who received first aid at the scene from the health teams that arrived in the area, were transferred to nearby hospitals by ambulance. Hatice Ünlü, who was stabbed multiple times in the throat and chest, could not be saved despite all the interventions by doctors at Denizli State Hospital. It was learned that Hasan Çalışkan, who was taken to PAÜ Hospital with a severed carotid artery in his neck, underwent surgery and his life was still in danger.

Mehmet K., who fled the scene, was caught by the police teams in a short time. The body of Hatice Ünlü, who lost her life, was taken to the forensic medicine institute morgue for autopsy. It was claimed that the children of the divorced couple were also present at the scene during the stabbing attack. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident, where moments of horror were experienced in the middle of the street.
