Three individuals who insulted the relatives of those who lost their lives in the fire disaster in Kartalkaya, where 78 people died, were detained yesterday. Sharing the latest development in the investigation, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated, "Three minors under the age of 18, who were involved in the offenses, have been brought to the Child Branch Directorates in Van, Diyarbakır, and Istanbul."

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had taken action regarding suspects who allegedly used mocking expressions by obtaining and calling the phone numbers of the families of those who lost their lives in the fire at the hotel in Kartalkaya Ski Resort.

ARRESTS CONTINUE

As part of the investigation, 21-year-old B.M.D. residing in Aksaray; 20-year-old F.A. residing in Nevşehir; and 19-year-old D.D. residing in Bitlis were detained by security forces, while Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared details about the new developments today on his X account.

Minister Yerlikaya reported that 3 minors who disrespected the memories of those who passed away in a hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya were brought to the Child Branch Directorates in Van, Diyarbakır, and Istanbul.

Yerlikaya, in a statement he made on social media as the "latest development," said, "3 minors under the age of 18 who disrespected the sacred memories of our citizens who passed away in Kartalkaya were brought to the Child Branch Directorates in Van, Diyarbakır, and Istanbul."
