Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the investigation into the stabbing of a young man who intervened with individuals under the age of 18 who were assaulting a child in Bağcılar. It has been revealed that the suspects sent threatening messages to the injured young man's father.
A new development has occurred in the investigation regarding the stabbing of 27-year-old Oğuzhan Çöpür, who intervened in a group that assaulted a child in the Bağcılar district of Istanbul. Three suspects under the age of 18, who were detained on the grounds of threatening Çöpür's family after the incident, have been arrested.
The incident occurred on February 12 in the Yıldıztepe neighborhood of Bağcılar. According to allegations, Oğuzhan Çöpür, 27, who intervened in a group that assaulted a child, was injured with a knife during the ensuing fight. While Çöpür, who was taken to the hospital, is still receiving treatment, one of the three suspects previously detained in connection with the incident had been arrested.
THREAT MESSAGES TO THE FATHER
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department, which are deepening the investigation, determined that the injured young man's father, F.Ç. (54), received threat messages urging him not to file a complaint against the suspects.
Police teams detained three suspects under the age of 18, identified as having sent the threatening messages.
THEY WERE SENT TO COURT
After their procedures at the police station, the three suspects were sent to court, where they were arrested and sent to prison.
