Sezer Özdemir, a construction worker trying to cross from Lebanon to the Israeli border after receiving a shipment from Istanbul, and his two friends, Çınar Alp Baydenk and Hüseyin Yıldızeli, have been missing for 5 days. It has been reported that Özdemir and his friends last shared a live location on Israel's Mount Dov and mentioned to their families during a conversation that "drones were flying above us."

Construction worker Sezer Özdemir, who was trying to cross into Israel to collect his payment a week after leaving Istanbul, has been missing for 5 days along with his colleagues Çınar Alp Baydenk and Hüseyin Yıldızeli. Sezer Özdemir's wife, Demet Özdemir, who lives in Kırşehir, said, "My husband had been working in Israel for 5 years. When his time was up, he was deported and returned. He was working as a subcontractor there. He had outstanding payments and tried to cross into Israel via the Lebanon border to collect his money. He shared his last live location on Israel's Dov Mountain and then lost contact with us. There were reports on Israeli channels about 3 Turks being killed at the same time on the same day. I am worried about my husband's safety. I have 3 children, and I am asking for help from our state leaders, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and our Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan," she said.

I am worried about my husband's safety. I have 3 children, and I am asking for help from our state leaders, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and our Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. We have not heard anything since Saturday, January 11. There were also 2 friends with him, and we have not heard from them either. Please help us. Hear our voice, I am begging. The last time we spoke, he said, 'Drones are flying over us.' He shared his location on the Israel border at Dov Mountain, and we have not heard from him or the 2 people with him since. My husband went to earn a living, I have 3 children. He went to earn money to meet their needs, please help us," she said.
