Trabzonspor has terminated the contract of Uruguayan forward Maxi Gomez. The maroon-blue team will pay a termination fee of 700 thousand euros to the 28-year-old striker in 4 equal installments.
Trabzonspor, one of the teams in the Trendyol Super League, has parted ways with their Uruguayan striker Maxi Gomez, who spent last season on loan at Spanish team Cadiz.
CONTRACT TERMINATED
In a statement from the maroon-blue club, it was stated that "the professional football contract between our club and our player Maximilian Gomez Gonzalez, which was valid from 01.09.2022 to 31.05.2025, has been mutually terminated." The Black Sea team also announced to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that they will pay Maxi Gomez a termination fee of 700 thousand euros in 4 equal installments.
TRABZONSPOR CAREER
The Uruguayan forward, who transferred from Valencia to the Black Sea representative at the beginning of the 2022-2023 season, displayed a performance of 7 goals and 6 assists in 35 matches with the maroon-blue jersey. Gomez, who was loaned to Cadiz from Spain's La Liga teams last season, played in 33 matches but could not contribute to the score.
