CAR OVERTURNED INTO DITCH
The accident occurred in the Sultandağı district. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 34 NJK 274, driven by E.A., went out of control after the driver lost control of the steering wheel, rolled over, and entered a ditch. Upon the notification of citizens who witnessed the accident, gendarmerie, health, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene.
THEY WERE TRAPPED IN THE VEHICLE
Upon arriving at the scene, the teams determined that the driver E.A. and passenger M.A. had lost their lives. In the tragic accident, the other passengers in the vehicle, C.A. and 8-year-old D.A., were injured. Those who lost their lives and the injured were extracted from where they were trapped after approximately half an hour of intervention by AFAD teams.
After initial interventions at the scene, the injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances for treatment. The bodies of E.A. and M.A., who lost their lives at the scene, were taken to the Sultandağı State Hospital morgue after examinations. It was reported that an investigation was launched by the prosecutor's office following the accident.
