In a chain-reaction crash involving 2 cars, 1 minibus, and 1 light commercial vehicle in the Fethiye district of Muğla, 24-year-old Emircan Doğan was severely injured after being thrown onto the road from the opened rear door of the car driven by his brother. Despite all medical interventions, the young man died after being taken to the hospital. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
In a chain collision involving 2 cars, 1 minibus, and 1 light commercial vehicle in the Fethiye district of Muğla, 24-year-old Emircan Doğan, who was thrown from a car onto the road, died at the hospital where he was taken.
The accident occurred around 09:30 on the Fethiye-Ölüdeniz highway. The car with license plate 34 CTL 136, driven by Engin Doğan, collided with an oncoming light commercial vehicle with license plate 48 T 3101 after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
Thrown by the impact, the car struck an oncoming minibus with license plate 48 ARN 030. After the accident, another car coming from behind hit the stopped minibus, causing a chain collision.
THROWN FROM THE OPEN DOOR ONTO THE ROAD
In the accident, 24-year-old Emircan Doğan was seriously injured after being thrown from the open rear door of the car driven by his brother, Engin Doğan.
Upon notification, health and gendarmerie traffic teams were dispatched to the scene. After chest compressions performed by health teams at the scene, Emircan Doğan was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries despite all medical interventions.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident, and it was reported that the inquiry is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the incident.
